The Starfish Project, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, collects the unused portions of people’s antiretroviral medications (ARVs) to support people who are HIV-positive in Nigeria.

Teams of clinicians in New York collaborate with Nigerian clinicians to care for people with HIV and to build the capacity of local clinics to provide comprehensive HIV care.

While the prices of ARVs have certainly dropped, they remain far out of reach for most of the world’s population living with the virus.

In the meantime, our leftovers are their lifeline.

The Starfish Project pays for all shipping costs from you to our collection depot in New York City. more >>
